The second IEEE MTT-S International Conference on Microwaves for Intelligent Mobility (ICMIM) will be held in San Diego, CA. This conference covers a broad range of topics that enable intelligent mobile systems through RF/microwave/millimeter-wave components, circuits and systems. Potential applications include cognitive and autonomous automobiles and robots, wireless communications between automobiles and industrial machines. The conference will be comprised of oral and interactive/poster sessions, and all papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore for publication. ICMIM invites papers on all topics related to the topic of the conference, including but not limited to:

  • Active a ntennas and MIMO
  • RF components
  • Frontends
  • Modulation and waveforms
  • Wave propagation and RCS
  • System concepts
  • RF signal processing
  • Digital signal processing

In these fields of Applications:

  • Automotive radar
  • Passive and active imaging systems
  • Vehicular applications of RF-systems, sensors and communication
  • RF based localization and monitoring
  • RF for automobile to X communication (V2X)
  • RF for mobile system to mobile system communication
  • RF for mobile system to base station communication

Paper submission instructions can be found at the left column on this page. All submissions must be properly formatted in the two-column IEEE format and be between three and four pages with the figures included Only electronic submissions in pdf format will be accepted for review. Authors should indicate their preference for oral or poster presentation, but the conference chairs may place the paper in the best place. All submissions must be received by 25 January 2016.

Submissions will be evaluated based on novelty, significance of the work, technical content, interest to the audience, and presentation. Measured data should be provided to verify component, circuit and system designs. All accepted papers presented at the conference will be submitted for publication in IEEE Xplore. IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference, including IEEE Xplore® Digital Library, if the paper is not presented by the author at the conference. For each paper, it is required that at least one author registers for the conference. Papers without any author registered will not be included in the conference programme.
